Community Sport Facilities in Trowbridge Park

 Trowbridge Park, located in the county town of Wiltshire,  has some of the best community sport facilities in the area. The well maintained courts and facilities make Trowbridge Park a stand out sporting facility and a must see for those looking to play tennis in.  The hard (macadam) tennis courts are some of the best of its kind, and makes playing outdoor tennis an all year event. Trowbridge Park is situated close to Castle Place multi-story car park which is available for 2 hours free parking or St Stephen’s Place Car Park offers 3 hours free.

Court Facilities here can be booked on a pay as you play basis. This means that you do not have to be a member to make a booking here, however the membership does offer great value for money at £40.00 per year.

If a one-off game isn’t enough, then why not take advantage of the block booking option. Block bookings are a great way to guarantee a weekly game and socialise with your friends. It also takes the hassle out of paying before each game and collecting money from teammates as there is a one-time payment.

Multi-Sport Court, provides an excellent facility for playing all sports and can be book for hour long sessions, block bookings are available to we  sports clubs, 5 a side teams and outdoor fitness classes.

Safeguarding

Everyone involved with tennis on the courts in Trowbridge Park shares the responsibility for ensuring that those using the courts be they children or vunerable adults can do so safely.

The tennis courts in Trowbridge Park have a designated safeguarding lead that can be contacted for any further information or to report any concerns. Tennis For Free operates fully-inclusive alternative tennis sessions for all ages and sections of the community nationwide at public parks for free.Based on a mass participation two-hour session every week of the year, running mixed ability group games and drills managed by fully-trained professional coaches and supported by local volunteers

Courts can be booked for up to 2 hours per day, twice within a 2 day period for members and 7 days for pay and play bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance. Bookings can also be made via LTA Rally.

 

Important Information

Your access code will allow you entry to the courts 5 minutes before your session is due to start and up to 5 minutes before your session is due to finish.

Household and Annual members will still need to book courts online.
